Zombina and the Skeletones

Zanzibar

Whilst the attention of music press has been firmly focussed on the antics of The Coral and the assorted Bandwagon posse of in the bedrooms and bar-rooms of Liverpool.

Zombina and the Skeletones are one group keeping the freakflag flying every fortnight at Zanzibar on Seel Street. Recent highlights of their Useless nights include a twisted reinterpretation of Santa’s Grotto – vile elves and bad Santa in attendance – and two escaped/resurrected Harold Shimans, rapping about Freudian criticism and para-psychology.

The Skeletones, skeleton-suited and plastered in fright make-up, make punk/doo-wop/horror-pop that soundtracks one of the finest, and cheapest, club nights around. More Satans Ball than Rocky Horror camp, find out about their latest appearance at www.zombina.com
